Diaz-Balart Lives in District 25

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart demanded a correction to a Palm Beach Post article published today. The article erroneously reported that Diaz-Balart lives outside the 25th District. Diaz-Balart, in fact, lives well within the congressional district.

 

"We demand an immediate correction to this poorly reported story in the Palm Beach Post," said Carlos Curbelo, spokesman for the campaign. "Let me make this perfectly clear: the only candidate for the 25th District that lives outside of the district is Enron Joe Garcia whose home is four congressional districts away in Miami Beach. Mario Diaz-Balart lives well within the 25th District.

 

"What is even more disappointing is that the Post would publish this story after the reporter even contacted Diaz-Balart's office to confirm that he lived in the congressional district," Curbelo continued. "We demand that the Post print a correction to this story – in the paper and online."
