Naples Daily News: Diaz-Balart "knows how to get things done"
Naples – Today, the Naples Daily News gave Mario Diaz-Balart its endorsement praises Diaz-Balart for making "himself easily accessible and highly visible, and delivering much-needed federal aid to worthy local projects such as defense research at Florida Gulf Coast University, health care and disaster recovery and readiness."
The editorial also cited the tens of millions of dollars Diaz-Balart delivered for the widening of Interstate 75, which it says was "a project that had languished under previous and even higher-ranking public officials."
Ultimately, Mario Diaz-Balart was recognized for his effectiveness. "Diaz-Balart, an early champion of limited offshore drilling with local control, knows how to get things done in the House and his slate is clean. That is worth keeping," states the Naples Daily News.
