Joe Garcia Bankrolled by Anti-Colombia Free Trade Interests

MIAMI-South Florida Democrat Joe Garcia has claimed he supports the Colombia Free Trade Agreement, but his FEC reports tell a very different story.  The truth is Garcia’s campaign has been bankrolled by Congressional Democrats who voted to kill the agreement.

“Garcia’s willingness to campaign with Nancy Pelosi, who stood in the way of the Colombia Free Trade Agreement, exposes his hypocrisy and shows the voters in Florida that he is willing to put partisan politics over the best interests of his constituents and our economy,” NRCC spokesman Ken Spain said in a statement to the Miami Herald on 10/25/08.
